King Sturge wins EG 'Most active agent in Wales' for 7th year running

The Cardiff office of King Sturge has again won the coveted Estate Gazette’s ‘Most Active National Agent in Wales’ Award.




The Cardiff office of King Sturge has again won the coveted Estate Gazette’s ‘Most Active National Agent in Wales’ Award for the seventh year running.

At a reception hosted by the Estate Gazette in Cardiff, King Sturge came out top in the official quantitative deals based exercise conducted by Estate Gazette. The Cardiff office completed more than 220 transactions over the past 12 months including:

In the Industrial sector King Sturge completed over 80 transactions across South Wales. These included the acquisition of the former LG premises in Newport, the sale of the 845,000 ft² Visteon premises in Swansea, the letting of Valeo Park in Swansea to Amazon as well as multiple transactions at Capital Business Park for developer JR Smart.

The office department completed 59 deals including the 33,000ft² letting to The Home Office at 31/33 Newport Road, 50,000 ft² at Eastern Business Park to Logica, Scottish & Southern, Taylor Woodrow and Mowlem and 10,000 ft² acquired for Yell Group at Usk House in Newport.

Investment deals last year included the disposal of the £3.8m Gyrus building for Royal Liver, the £6m Sogefi industrial complex for Newhall Investments and recent acquisition of the 35,000 ft² Ty Glas Industrial Estate at Llanishen for Legal & General.
